Automating theLast 30 Metres

Autonomous shelf-restocking robots for retail supermarkets.

Autonomous robots that restock grocery shelves overnight, freeing your team to focus on customers.
No capex. No IT integration. No supervision.

The Problem

Restocking is retail's most expensive repetitive task.

Retailers spend billions every year moving product from the back room to the shelf. It's a repetitive, physically demanding task with brutal turnover. When execution fails, shelves go empty.

$50B+spent per year

Spent on restocking labor alone across supermarkets in Western Europe and North America.

25%annual turnover

European & American grocery floor staff. Mercer 2025: retail has the highest turnover of any major industry.

8.3%OOS rate

Global average out-of-stock event level, stable for 30 years. 70–90% events are caused by in-store execution failure.

The most expensive labor line in grocery is also the least stable, and the work itself is what keeps shelves empty.

How We Fix It

Restocking. Overnight. Autonomous.

Theseus deploys in your store without integration or capex. The robot works the overnight window, restocks your shelves, checks the inventory, and hands the floor back to your team by morning.

Deploy

Robot arrives pre-configured. No IT integration, no infrastructure changes, no capex. Pay a monthly fee, like any other service.

Restock

Every night, the robot moves product from back room to shelf. Remotely supervised by Theseus operators, your staff will never need to touch it.

Verify

As the robot restocks, it maps every shelf it touches. Inventory stays accurate to the shelf, and phantom stock gets caught before customers do.

Your store opens stocked. Your team starts the day on customer-facing work, not on pallets.

First Principles

Our Design Approach

Theseus is built to gets a working robot into your store as soon as possible.

20% SKU Focus

Theseus starts where the volume is. We focus on the 20% of SKUs that drive ~80% of in-store handling: beverages, milk, ambient staples, baked goods, personal care products.

Wheeled Humanoid, No Legs

Supermarkets are designed for carts. Flat floors, wide aisles, predictable layouts. Compared to bipedal legs, wheels are cheaper, enable longer battery life, move faster, and are passively stable.

Overnight Window

Stores are closed for up to 10 hours per night. Theseus operates in that window. No shoppers to navigate around. No safety burden. No daytime disruption. No time wasted.

Pays for itself from the first month.
